Meet the Counsellor

Jen Reddish is a Registered Master Therapeutic Counsellor with more than 15 years of experience in the field. Specializing in supporting women throughout the perinatal period and various stages of motherhood, she focuses on addressing developmental trauma and guiding women to uncover the root causes of their triggers. Through compassionate support, she helps clients move beyond temporary coping mechanisms, empowering them to achieve deep, lasting healing.

Jen’s approach is integrative and intuitive, blending Polyvagal Theory, nervous system regulation, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and many other modalities, including energy work, to support healing on multiple levels. In her IFS practice, she works with clients to explore and heal their inner child and other parts, fostering self-compassion, understanding, and integration. This approach helps clients navigate past wounds and create a more harmonious internal system.

She is also a certified forest therapy practitioner, deeply connected to the healing power of nature. She loves the forest and incorporates nature-based therapy into her practice, offering clients a unique opportunity to reconnect with themselves in a grounded, embodied way.

Her work is deeply informed by nervous system support and regulation, helping clients shift from survival-based responses to a state of safety, connection, and empowerment. She believes that healing comes from deepening one’s connection to the body, emotions, and inner wisdom, and she provides tools to help clients co-regulate, self-regulate, and build resilience in their daily lives.

Passionate about helping women connect to their intuition and authentic selves, Jen offers a range of therapeutic experiences, from 1:1 counselling and group therapy retreats to forest therapy sessions and energy work, all designed to foster self-awareness, nervous system balance, and lasting transformation.

"My goal is to help clients reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and intuition, fostering a deeper awareness of and resolution to the root causes of their current challenges, and supporting them in moving forward with clarity and healing."

When it suits the needs of her clients, Jen uses expressive arts therapy in her sessions. Working creatively in therapy helps you to connect to your body, enabling you to access thoughts and feelings that are normally blocked by your conscious mind.

Jen has a gentle, yet direct approach and adapts her style to the needs of her clients in order to best suit each individual.
