Self-Compassion in Motherhood

Join our Live Interactive Online Workshop | Empowering Yourself Through Motherhood

February Topic: Self Compassion

Join our monthly online workshop. It’s a safe space for mothers coming together to support each other's journeys toward personal growth, healing and empowerment as you navigate the everchanging realities of motherhood.

Each month we focus on a different topic and invite discussion amongst the participants. This group is led by Registered Master Therapeutic Counsellor Jen Reddish who has nearly 14 year experience as a counsellor and LOVES supporting women as they journey through motherhood.

February Topic: Self Compassion

Join us for an impactful workshop designed to help you embrace the power of self-compassion in your journey through motherhood. As a mom, it's easy to prioritize everyone else's needs while neglecting your own. In this supportive and interactive session, we’ll explore practical tools and techniques to nurture your inner strength, foster self-love, and cultivate a mindset of compassion—so you can be the best version of yourself for both you and your family.

What to Expect:

  • Understanding Self-Compassion: Learn how cultivating self compassion can reduce stress, increase emotional resilience, and improve your overall well-being (and consequently, the well being of your entire family)

  • Practical Exercises: Experience guided exercises that help you reconnect with yourself, release guilt, and create more space for self-care

  • Mindfulness Practices: Discover simple, effective mindfulness techniques to manage overwhelm and stay grounded amidst the chaos of motherhood

  • Community Support: Connect with other mothers in a safe and empowering environment, where you can share your experiences and receive support without judgment

Who This Workshop Is For:

  • Mothers navigating the challenges of parenting at any stage

  • New Moms, experienced moms, or moms to be

  • Any mother who is looking to develop more kindness, patience, and understanding toward themselves

Why Attend: This workshop is designed to remind you that taking care of yourself isn’t selfish; it’s essential. When you practice self-compassion, you not only elevate your own well-being, but you also model it for your children, empowering them with a powerful lesson of kindness, empathy, and resilience. And don’t forget, if you aren’t okay - then nobody is! But when you do take time for yourself, this ripples onto every single member of your family.

Empower yourself to thrive in motherhood—because you deserve it.

Join us and take the first step toward a more compassionate, balanced, and fulfilling motherhood experience.

What to Expect:

You will be encouraged to reflect on the topic prior to joining the session, and come prepared with questions and examples from your personal experiences.

Jen will welcome you into the group with some gentle prompts and psycho-education on the topic when applicable. She will encourage discussion amongst the group participants and help you to understand more about how you relate to the topic while you develop insight and self awareness. You will leave each group session with a sense of community connection - feeling seen, heard, supported with new skills/strategies to help you navigate the topic discussed.

Don’t feel comfortable sharing? No problem, you can join in and listen to the discussions being had and take away what resonates with you. There is zero pressure to share if you don’t want to! Just come along and participate in a way that feels safe for you.
