Individual Sessions: What to Expect
In my Individual Sessions, I would be supporting you to increase your awareness of your thoughts and feelings, and help you to connect to your emotions and inner voice. You would set the pace and decide what you want to focus on.
Group Sessions: What to Expect
You can expect psycho-education on the topic and exploration around how that topic impacts you. Sometimes there will be more focus on the topic, and sometimes more focus on what the participants bring up - I am always flexible with this to meet the needs of the group.
Selfish or Self Care? Know the Difference
As mothers, mistaking the two and thinking that we are being SELFISH when all we are needing is self-care can be debilitating. When we don’t make time for ourselves, but we continue to give to others, we put ourselves at risk for exhaustion, burn-out and can easily trigger or escalate anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.

“I don’t have a creative bone in my body!” How I Found Healing in the Arts and Incorporated it into my Counselling Practice
I remember being in school during art classes when I was younger being blatantly aware that every other student was more creative than I was. Better artists. Feeling Good in Your Body
So many of us are disconnected from our bodies - it's no wonder there are so many women with body image issues. After all, how can you feel good in your body if you aren't in tune with it? I believe that we must respect, love and nurture our inner-selves to be able to respect, love and nurture our outer-selves (our bodies) – and vice versa!
How it Started
My main goal for my practice is to be able to support and empower women. I want to help women in learning how to trust themselves, their bodies, their intuition. I am passionate about working with women-specific issues because I believe that as women, we have a stronger ability to connect to our intuition than men (sorry guys!) and that when we allow ourselves to tap into this we can empower ourselves and each other.
