DAY RETREAT FOR MOTHERS: EMBODIED SELF-CONNECTION

Explore your inner world as you are guided through creative + somatic processing to connect to your authentic self!

This day retreat is for you if you are in need of a nurturing space for self-connection and you are ready to increase your awareness beyond your cognitive abilities!

You will leave this day retreat feeling refreshed, recharged & much more aware of your body, your emotions, and your sense of self which will enhance your ability to move forward with confidence as your authentic self.

In this day retreat you will be led through various exercises by Jen Reddish, Registered Master Therapeutic Counsellor to help you to connect to your body and emotions through somatic experiencing and gentle interventions through expressive arts therapy. Don’t worry, no artistic skills are needed, all you need is yourself and an open mind!

Somatic experiencing is a body-centred approach to therapy. It is an incredible way to bring your mind and body into connection, increase your awareness of your body and emotions and bring you into connection with your sense of self.

Thinking & talking only gets us so far with increasing our self-awareness and moving towards our goals. This retreat was created to give you an opportunity to dive deeply into your experience of yourself and expand your awareness through various exercises that allow you to access what may usually be out of reach.

This retreat starts with a gentle yoga class led by Stephanie Marleau from Desert Sessions to ground you and bring awareness and connection into your body. Stephanie is a SATTVA yoga teacher and a mother herself. She is passionate about supporting her clients to feel empowered through yoga and meditation.

Dr Kate Hadfield is also stepping into this session to share her knowledge on connecting to your emotions & sense of self through your pelvic bowl.

Dr Kate Hadfield is passionate advocate of thinking differently about all things pelvic health. She wants you to question what you think you know about your pelvic health - in this session, she will open up an important conversation about how your mental/emotional health shows up in your pelvic bowl and how you can nourish your healing and connection with this area of your body to connect to your sense of self.

Join us in a peaceful country setting in the outskirts of Calgary in Priddis for this day retreat!
